When we started the work on the design, the team was faced with the task of a complete change in the appearance of the store. We changed the specific areas and created corners for the sports brands. We also made up specific stands that will best display all skis, poles, ski helmets and accessories. And as always, the most emblematic models received special attention and an individual approach thereto.
The two floors were only connected using an elevator and an evacuation staircase. This was the first problem we faced. We connected the floors by making a hole in the slab on the upper level and connected them with a metal, openwork staircase, which became part of the interior. Our aim as architects and designers is to use natural materials. Adhering entirely to this principle, we relied on a clean and modern design implemented using metal, stone, wood and glass.
